The Best Wave To Unlock: Wave Unlock is an application for Android that utilizes the proximity sensor to unlock and lock the screen by waving your hand over it. With Wave Unlock, you can conveniently unlock your device with a simple wave of your hand and lock the screen by covering the proximity sensor.
Wave Mode: In this mode, you can wave your hand over the proximity sensor to turn on and unlock the screen.
Pocket Mode: After the screen has been off for approximately 5-6 seconds, when you take your phone out of your pocket or purse, the screen will automatically turn on.
Lock Screen: By covering the proximity sensor for about one second, you can easily turn off the screen. Please note that this feature is not enabled by default.
Wave to Unlock Features:
- Wave to Unlock: You can wave your hand to unlock your device.
- Cover to Lock Screen: You can cover the proximity sensor to lock the device.
- Auto Lock Screen: The screen will turn off when your device is in a pocket or purse.
- Auto Unlock Screen: The screen will turn on when you take your phone out of your pocket or purse, eliminating the need to wave to unlock it.
- Wake Screen with Sensor: When your phone is locked, waving your hand over the proximity sensor will wake up the screen.
- Cover Sensor to Lock Device: When your phone's screen is on, covering the proximity sensor will lock the device. This function can be enabled in settings, as it is disabled by default.
- Landscape Option: Disable lock screen when your device is in landscape mode.
- Vibrate Option: Notify you of proximity detection to prevent accidental locking of the phone.
- Excluded Apps Option: Prevent locking if specific apps are in the foreground.
To Uninstall: Click on the icon in the top action bar to uninstall the app.
How to Use:
- To enable the app, press the "START" button. It will turn red after enabling.
- You can now unlock your device's screen by waving your hand over the screen, specifically over the proximity sensor.
- To turn off the screen, simply cover the proximity sensor for about one second. Please note that this feature is not enabled by default.
- Click on the Lockscreen row and follow the prompts to add the app as the device administrator in order to enable this feature. Once enabled, you can turn off the screen by covering the proximity sensor for one second or longer.
Required Permissions:
- WAKE_LOCK: To turn on the screen.
- USES_POLICY_FORCE_LOCK: To lock the device.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To automatically start up on boot if selected.
- READ_PHONE_STATE: To suspend Wave Unlock while on a call.
